When you conjure a Bloodthirster with Daemonology do you get to choose which kind comes in as the newer renditions were not out at the time the psychic power was released? Thanks

The rules only support the standard bloodthirster from codex daemons.
This is rules identical to the bloodthirster of unfettered fury, so I would see no problem in using that model.
The rules don't support using the other thirsters (which are more points anyway)

I believe you but is this confirmed or obvious somewhere so I have something to show?

... You cannot show that a rules does not exist. You have to show a rule does exist to use it.
The rules for the new bloodthirsters are in a white dwarf, which makes no reference to summoning.
They are also in codex khorne daemonkin, which again makes no reference to summoning. Automatically Appended Next Post: (It is possible there are more rules included with the model however)

Yeah I was basically asking if it had come up and been specifically addressed before. Thank you for the quick replies

Actually, there is a Rule quote for this one: Rules for these units can be found in Codex: Chaos Daemons. - Summoning, Incursion, Sacrifice & Possession

8th made it so I can no longer sway Tau onto the side of Chaos, but they will eventually turn aside from their idea of the Greater Good to embrace the Greatest of pleasures. |
