One of the things in my opinion that GW does really well is terrain, however the recent releases have been horrible to assemble.

The realmgates went together in perfectly and look really good. The Ophidian
Archway just wouldn't line up for me and I'm still having issues with the dragon
corner pieces. I had 3 separate runs at the Occulum and I'm close to selling it already
as I don't see how I'm going to get this together.

I've put most of their fantasy and 40k kits together before and never had any issues.
Has anyone else had problems assembling these kits?

Somewhere in south-central England.

Well I admit I haven't got these kits but I've had a look at them in the shops. They look nice when built though the parts look a bit more basic on the inside, so to speak.

I would think about chopping and sawing to get the bits to fit, then cover up any cracks with putty. Once painted you will never know the difference.

If I was making one I probably would add some internal structural support using plasticard and epoxy cement, especially for the items like the ball cage and the flying pillar altar, because there is a lot of overhang.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Yeah the ophidian archway was a pain. The plastic struggled with the glue a bit too I thought.

I am planning to add wood framework etc inside mine. I have the oculus and dragon thingy too, not tried to build them yet, have to finish painting what I started first lol.
