So I've been playing with my lists for a few days now, and I would like some advice and help on how to field a proper Daemonkin list. So here goes nothing:

Blood Host Detachment:

Slaughtercult: 1,208
Juggerlord, Sigil, 2 Axes of Khorne, Combat Familiar and Blood Forged Armor (I've found that 2 axes and the familiar work surprisingly well)

Again, comments and advice is greatly appreciated. Help me rip apart the loyalist scum.

BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE! MILK FOR THE KHORNE FLAKES!

Whew, 2 axes of Khorne? That's a little excessive. A lightning claw is 15 pts less. Still a specialist weapon, and gives you ap3 shred if you're not needing the ap2 or decapitating blow.

Use those 15 points for more weapons on CSM or rhino.

Just a couple of suggestions:

- Why not swap out those two axe's of khorne for kor'lath (thirster axe)? However, you won't be able to take the blood forge armour because of the limit on one artefact of slaughter per model.
- Possessed in a rhino?
- Swap out the hellblades for an icon of chaos and have the blood letters deepstrike? It's your choice how you want to play them but that way the are both pretty much guaranteed to come on turn 2. Maybe even throw in a banner on one for no scatter.

Lascannon on 10 marines isn't that great since it will be shooting at things the other 9 guys wont be.

If you drop the powerfist on second squad maybe you can take 2x 8 man CSM squads with xtra hand weapon, bolters, rhino and 1 meltagun each. Maybe even have enough points to put meltabombs on champs.

Also really consider running a wrath bloodthirster instead of insensate one (depending on your opponents) insensate has to be on the ground and attacks last in combat making him pretty easy to kill...wrath one is good just flying around breathing fire, whipping stuff and vector striking
