This army literally runs in waves.
Human wave of 100 conscripts with fearless and hatred, 2 large infantry squads in behind with a little anti armor and some more fire power, the PCSs behind them firing off orders, and the CCS in the middle of it all with Prescience + other goodies. I'm considering filling out the remainder of points with a regimental standard. What do you think?

Looks fun. You have no mobility, so if you play against a fast army, or anything that can sit at range and Pew Pew, you will be in for a bad time.

You may want to invest in at least one fast transport to sit in reserve and jump out at an opportune moment to solve one of these problems.

									... seems familiar

Ditch the voxes on the PCSs, their orders will likely go on the conscripts and the CCSs on the guard

Creed is unnecessary, doesn't bring much benefit at this level. Take 2 Commissars instead to put into the guard blobs and a vox in the CCS as creeds gone.

Benefit of ML2 on primaris is also questionable. I'd leave it out and add an astropath. Same cost, still get the warp charge and may get something groovy on telepathy like shrouded or invis.

50 points remaining 2 flamers on each PCS and meltabombs on blob Sarge's.

Regimental standards aren't that great. Ld9 still isnt that reliable (~80%) and you don't want to be failing checks. The blobs will loose combats and getting swept would wreck you. Hence Commissars.

God bless you if you have the patience to paint 100 conscripts and 30 infantry --

Creed is a waste of points here... he won't be dishing out enough orders to make up his high cost. Meltas suck in infantry squads.. stick to the template weapons and save melta/plas for vets.

Not mobile -> will die from long range shots.
  No adequate anti-infantry firepower.

									NEW LIST:

  CCS
  snipers x2
  AC
  camo gear x5

  PLATOON 1 & 2

  PCS
  snipers x2
  AC

  Infantry Sqd 1 (x30)
  commissar
  flamer/GL x3
  krak grenades x30

  Conscripts (x50)
  priest + plasmagun

  1000 pts
  179 bodies on the table

My plan is to throw EVERYONE directly at the enemy, although the PCS and CCS will sit back in cover for orders/specific targets. I doubt that my opponent will have much room to maneuver. What worries me is heavily mechanized/deep striking units.

  Advice???

Forward you dogs! For the Emperor!

Get up soldier, you're not going down that easy! Faster, faster you gits!

*cough* *cough* sorry, having Cadian Gate flashbacks.

On a serous note, a psyker or two could provide a lot of infantry with protection, invlun saves and such. Personally I would drop the Plasma guns from the Priests, your going to need them to keep your conscripts fearless, and losing one to Gets Hot would be an awful way to go.

  Good Luck!

I never thought of it that way... I figured the 4+ invulnerable would keep 'em alive long enough from Gets Hot by the time all the conscripts would die off.

 Many thanks Cothonian
