Since the excellent Batman Miniatures Game range from Knight Models doesn't get nearly enough exposure, I thought I'd show off a few of mine. For the kids part I'll just show the heroes and villains here, you can see closeups of the henchmen in my blog.

Robin, based on the Arkham City video game design (by far my favourite)

And the new Arkham Knight Batman:

And on the villainous side of things, Ra's Al Ghul, master of the League of Shadows, Head of the Demon:

Slade Wilson, Deathstroke, The Terminator:

And Bane, before the accident that makes him the (even more) hulking monstrosity we all know and fear:

A few crew shots:

Any thoughts welcome, and expect plenty more over the next weeks and months!

They look gorgeous!

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

I think that these are easily some of your best work. Even the yellow on the inside of Robin's cloak is gritty and realistic. The black to grey transitions are wonderful.

If I were to offer any critique it might be that the black can be a little bit too glossy, eg. Batman's cape, which makes it a little tricky to see some of the hard work you've done highlighting.

Cheers! I was very pleased with Robin's cloak and I think the few weeks I spent painting various blacks in practice certainly paid off.

I agree about the shininess. It's partly glare that I haven't managed to get rid of (need to look into a diffuser) and it's nowhere near as noticeable in real life, but it is bad enough to bug me. I'll see about putting on another coat of matt varnish, that might help.
