Title is pretty explanatory. Thinking about creating The Purge, with a boatload of Plague Zombies ( cheap, fearless, feel no pain blobs ) supported by some CSM Heldrakes & Sicarans, and some artillery.

Do you guys here on Dakka know some cheap zombies that fit the 28mm scale? The cheaper the better, but I appreciate good looking miniatures too ofcourse.

Thanks beforehand.

What's left of Cadia

There's the zombies for vampire counts (fantasy) they look pretty nice.

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes
TheEyeOfNight- "Ordo Xenos reports that the Necrons have attained democracy, kamikaze tendencies, and nuclear fission. It's all tits up, sir."
Space Marine flyers are shaped for the greatest possible air resistance so that the air may never defeat the SPACE MARINES!
Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum

Can't say they wouldn't look nice, but I'm talking perhaps over a hundred zombies, so cheaper the better.

Mantic's Kings of War Undead Zombie Swarm offers more zombies/money, 0,87€/Zombie in boxes of 40, and aren't carrying any particularily fantasy/medieval looking bits, a bit of a shirtless party thought.

There's also Mantic's Deadzone Plague Zombies, which look more like Guardsmen, and are at 0,90€/zombie in boxes of 20.

GW's Vampire Counts Zombies are actually pretty expensive at 1,55€/zombie (box of 20), and are carrying all sorts of farm implements that I'm not sure will fit too well with the purge, but they are another option.

The WHF zombies are rather bad looking actually, but there are less real options than you would expect.

Get kings of war zombies for a better looking, and cheaper horde-but its a bit repetitive, so maybe add some ghouls to spice it up a bit, even though they are not as cheap-it still beats GW zombie prices. (mixing body parts can get it even more diverse)

They use 20mm bases though, so you probably should get some more bases, but that's shouldnt get the price to hike too high so its over GW prices anyway, and models ARE better looking.
They got a few more undead units that might fit well, but zombies and ghouls are probably the best.

can neither confirm nor deny I lost track of what I've got right now.

Just use the cheap Cultists from Dark Vengeance. They won't use the guns or anything, so just use the Zombie stats.

Thanks for the ideas. I was thinking about the KoW zombies aswell. The Bag O' Zombies is super cheap, but I guess there won't be much alternation in the poses? Perhaps I could just mix a bit of both.

When I started a IA13 army, I picked up a bag of these.

Super cheap and actually pretty good looking. They also make good renegade guard.

That's a nice one. They would also make great cultists.
