Hello!

My current gaming "group" consists of me and my buddy. That's it, two of us. And he can't play much.

I live on the West Side. Recess, Immortals Inc, and Warzone Matrix are all really close by.

I would just like to geek-out over 40k and play some friendly games. I've played a handful of 7th edition since it came out (because I can only play less than once a month).

I am not competitive. My entire army is not painted (due to lack of motivation because I can't play), and the painted miniatures are not very good quality.

I've got a good grasp on the rules, but I'm essentially a new player because I just don't play that often.

When rules issues come up, I usually go with whatever makes common sense (for 40k), and I like to keep the game moving.

I proxy models (Chimeras and Leman Russes are often Wyverns, for example) to try them out, but it will always be clear what is what.

I own a Shadowsword, but I feel bad using it because it's a Lord of War.

"Look upon me and know that I can slay you at will. You have no defence save one: to look into the darkness at the back of your own mind. There, you will find Father Nurgle waiting to offer you life in return for your submission. Deny him, and you are mine." — Typhus the Traveller, Herald of Nurgle
