i made this list. it is for a semi competitive seen. advice is welcome.
leader-chainsword and auto pistol
2 heavys with heavy stubbers and auto pistol
3 gangers with lasguns
2 gangers with auto pistols
2 juves with auto pistols

Could be hard if you're up against some dedicated shooters. Depending on how much cover you use in your games, you may just be gunned down before you even get to a nice position. And if you face some melee-guys... well those swords of them (parry) will really ruin your day!

I would suggest you either swap the pistols for some rifles or add some swords to your guys, so you could parry, too. Parry just is the bread and butter in necromunda's melee.

You probably had to remove one of your guys to get more cash to spend, but always remember that wenn rolling for money, the list goes 1-3, 4-6, 7-9 and so on. So starting with 9 people usually sounds like a good idea to me ;-)

Yeah swords are a good start for anyone with a pistol, clubs are a good alternative.

I would also suggest more bodies, 10 is just a bit too low for me. 11 or 12 is better even if it is just another juve or two that can run in a club prone fighters to death.

2 Heavy Stubbers is too much, it will make you static and liable to jams. Allot of Necro games have objectives and sitting back a shooting will not win and will be dull to boot. I'd loose one and get a flamer so you have something to shift your enemy from cover if you need to.

Leader should have a boltpistol, just because well...it's Necromunda.

I would add more variety because, well, it's more fun.

Stub guns, chainswords, plasma pistols, frag grenades, shotguns. Don't choose guns just because they are good, choose them to make the games wild and fun!

Saying that, autopistols are great if there's lots of cover. That +2 at close range gets you lots of hits.

How's this list been working out for you?

As a place to start of say it's great. Not my style exactly but good for competitive gaming and enough play in your weapons types to suit fighting style developments due to skills and advances.

I prefer larger gangs myself, especially starting out. So I tend to go for fewer heavies and as many juves as possible. It doesn't help when I have limited numbers for some scenarios but overall I find it works very well.
