The Forgotten Realms Archives, so far, anyway.

Hopefully others like the Dragonlance and Buck Rogers games will come along, too. At last, I can play these games again. It's not like I can just pop the original floppies into my computer these days.

Been playing Pools of Radiance again and loving it. I was going to bust out all my old clue books, but I noticed the games come with PDF versions.

Two fighters, one thief, 2 magic users and a cleric. Rockin it.

Yes!

The Auld Grump - Deathknights, soon, maybe?

And the Ravenloft, Dragonlance, and Dark Sun games are available now!

Well, that's a bunch of more games added to the queue. I really need to win the lotto so I don't have to work and can spend the rest of my life hopefully getting through at least half of the games in my Steam and GOG libraries.

I have almost all the old D&D games burned onto a disk. the first pool of radiance game was great, hire a high level fighter, never heal him, kill him if you have to and get his magic gear

Such great games. I have finished playing Gateway to the Savage Frontier last year and play both Treasures and Death Knights occassionally. I am hooked since the late 80s. The combination of the great D&D settings, classic artworks and SSIs tactical combat system is still very enjoyable and challenging even today.

A well executed hi-res remake using the original pen&paper artwork and keeping faith to the original would be a blast.

Together with Ultima VI and VII and the Wizardry series my favourite rpg computer games of all time. I am so bored by the tactically lacking rpg games of today. Well before crowdfunding brought them back, anyway.

I still say Ultima IV is the best RPG ever. The first game that brought consequences to your actions and that most horrid of sayings "Thou hast lost an eighth" It wasn't enough just to find all the items you needed and the words you needed, you had to be the good guy.

Nah, the most horrid of all RPG sayings is "You must gather your party before venturing forth."

Heh, how about 'No, not Black Leaf! Nooooo!'

The Auld Grump - I swear, more gamers have linked to Dark Dungeons than any Christian group....
