It was due to be released today but it still seems up for pre-order. Has any one tryed to download the digital version or is it still for pre-order too?

Dunno, some people have received copies but it seems a bit random. I know the printer was delayed getting them back to Mantic a while ago so maybe that had a knock on effect? No idea. I got my Gamer's edition with some kickstarter stuff but don't have the hardback yet.

All Copies are in, kickstarters are being sent out, pre-sale copies have shipped, and they have been sent to distributors.
And they are all sold out. You can't get one for a spare kidney. 2nd printing is already happening ASAP
The online free rules and easyarmy 2 online will help the sting and let you make army lists up.

Im sure I got an email saying they sold out of rule books.
We got ours the day the email came out.
Kings of War is OUT OF STOCK!
The demand for Kings of War has been unprecedented and we have burned through all of our web and retailer allocation of the Kings of War 2nd Edition rulebooks, Counter Sets, Damage Trackers and a number of army sets.
They are up for pre order until more stock comes in.
