Okay I am sure this has come up before but I could not find anything recent on the subject. The Skull Cannon is a riderless chariot but the FAQ gives it a "Bloodletter Crew". So is this now counting as being able to hit the crew? Does the chariot still count as "riderless" so you can attack the rear? Do the riders make their attacks against you which forces you to attack the front armour of the chariot because you cannot attack the riders but they can still defend it?

The way it seems to be played seems a bit broken to me but any clarification on this topic would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Bloodletter crew just makes attacks with their hellblades. It doesn't give you the ability to allocate hits to them and they can't die until the skull cannon does. The faq didnt give the skull cannon a transport capacity or rider, just the attacks.

Please reread 'Crew & Beasts' and 'Riderless Chariots' in the Chariots section of the rulebook.

@Ghaz: Right so I am hitting the rear armour yes? I just wasnt sure if the "Bloodletter Crew" actually counted as a crew mechanically.

You hit front armor for Chariots. A CCB's saving grace.
