So somebody I bumped into at a local game shop mentioned this is a good place to go when you want to talk tabletop wargames online.

I'm primarily a BattleTech player / collector, going back to probably 20 years ago. Also have the new X-wing miniatures game, some D&D, and I'm seriously considering getting into This Is Not A Test (TNT), because it looks like the perfect tabletop blend of Fallout, Mad Max, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

I'm also in the somewhat unique position of being a veteran 3D artist - 10+ years on PC and Xbox games, 5 shipped titles - and owning my own 3D printer, with access to several more at work, plus CNC milling and plastic injection molding equipment. My imagination has a tendency to manifest itself in physical objects more often than most people. It's fun.

Speaking of that, I have a 3D printing / design project I launched recently that I'll post about, as soon as I can figure out the right area in the forum for it...
