Hey guys, are any of you familiar with using copies of the digital codex's available from GW?

I've got the Space Marine one, however just like my previous digital codex it's really winding me up.

Where on earth is the Index Page found ta the back of every single codex with all the weapon/vehicle names and their stats etc?

If I run certain detachments I obtain special rules... I have the name of the rules, but where can I find what that rule is and what it does?!

I've scanned the whole codex and nothing...

I don't have any recent digitals, but I'm sure the profile reference page should be within the last few pages, just before the adverts they like sticking in it.

There should be a Contents tab or button to bring up the i dex, depending on what program you are reading it in. You should also be able to find special rules using the search function. If it's an "enhanced" edition, tapping (/clicking) on the special rule will bring up a box explaining it.

Otherwise, the special rule might be one from the rulebook (and thus, not written in the codex)?

ePub and mobi have the stats under the 'Profiles' section and Special Rules definitions are at the 'Appendix'. Some rules might also be at the 'Forces of the (Army Name)' section immediately before the 'Wargear' and after the pictures.

I had this problem with one of the dexes (can't remember which one now). It is set in such a way that the special rules (any rules really), only appear when you scroll over their name, which doesn't occur if you have opened it with the wrong program. I don't have the correct program on my phone so can't read any 'drop down' rules, but works fine on the laptop.
