Hi! Im building my very first nidlist and i honestly have no idea how to expand my army. The base of the list witch i have bought and still painting is:

1x Flyrant - TW Devoureres - E-grubs
2x Zoanthropes
1x Venomthrope
36x Hormagaunts

This base list wound end up in 565 points but i need to get it up to 1000. I have no idea what to buy but have been thinking about 2x Dakkafexxes or maybe a Trygon prime and a single dakkafex/lots of raveners? Im not sure about either as the Trygon feels a bit weak for the points but looks fething awesome and the -fexes feels a bit boring.
I will be facing Tau, SM and Necrons but the list doesn't need to be too competitive but i don't wanna get steamrolled either.
Im all open for any help regarding my list, thanks!

PS Hormagaunts looks ass so i refuse to run Tervigons.

Well, adding some Big Bugs is a very good idea. My personal favorites are Mawloc, and Tyrannofex.

Mawlocs are universally well regarded, so grab one of those for sure. If you can magnetise you can have both a Mawloc, and a Trygon.

A "Dakkafex, or two are also very good choices. If you add a Mawloc, and a Dakkafex, you should have some points left over for other purchases. A Warrior Brood will also almost always prove usefull as well. That all should put you at or near 1000, then just trim or add to ballence.

How about something like this:

2 Flyrant,
1 Hive Crone,
1 Mawloc

Fill the rest points with troop bugs. Optional one venomthrope or Lictor. That might be almost unbeatable in 1000pts without carefully tailoring.

Sorry, not noticing you don't want to be ultra competetive. So something like dakka fex instead of FMC spam is good. Moreover, would you consider get some Temaguant and combine with your Hormaguant into "endless swarm" formation? Just take two Muclid as CAD troops and one Flyrant. And a "endless swarm" formation. Then one Trygon. When you rolled a 4+ mke the dead guants into ongoing reserve, you can let them come out of the Trygon hole
