Hi there,
I have not really been active in online-forums in the past years, but now I have something I want to share with you. A friend and I have been working on our own post-AoS-version of Warhammer. It has been an intense 2 months of work and we have now come to a beta-stage. We would love to get some feedback, thoughts and inspiration. We call it Warhammer Legacy. It is basically the 8th edition, but with significant changes, removing the 8th's well known weaknesses and bringing in some good rules from the 6th. To me it feels like a matured version of the 8th. Not as silly and random as the by-the-book 8th, while still preserving its organic feeling over the more chess-like 6th.
Some of it may read weird at first, but to both of us it felt good on the battlefield. And in the end, that is what warhammer is all about.
We have prepared three documents:
1. A fully commented version of both, the rule changes and Army book updates
2. The rule changes without comments for quick reference
3. The Army Book changes without comments for quick reference

I hope you enjoy and I am looking forward to reading comment, thoughts and maybe even battlereports =)
