So I've seen some pretty cheap Doombulls on the bay of E.
He has 2 axes and a dog (minotaur) head and... no wings! Not been able to find any Blood Thirsters (obvs) or Deamon Princes with 2 axes anywhere without wings. Had been thinking of getting one and attacking the wings with a knife to to represent his wings being mangled when Khorne used him as a rugby ball. But Doombull seems to fit the bill well. The only question is, is he around the same Dimensions as a Blood Thirster sans wings?

I think you mean "Doombull". Doombreed (along with N'kari, Foulspawn and M'kechen) never had any models made. But I digress...

I think the older of the Doombull models would be a tad small for a Bloodthirster. To give bit of scale, this is part of his torso on a Nurgle Lord conversion of mine.


When making my Skarbrand I went for the LOTR Balrog with some (now sadly OOP) Netheraxes from Heresy.


I would make him out of the plastic BT and try to beg, borrow of steal (or go on one of the bits sites) another one of the 2-handed axes.

Cheers for the info. Yep indeed it is 'Doombull' not 'Doombreed', not that familiar with WHFB since I stopped playing many year ago just before the albion campaign. Ironically my main army back then was Beastmen and Chaos Warriors, which became pretty unplayable once they made them seperate armies and all my Gors list their second wounds.
So Doombull is too small then.

I've got the old doombull converted to a ork war boss and the old metal demon prince model( wings added) i'll dig them out tomorrow and take a pic for you for size comparison .

I think they would be very close size wise from memory
