A hopefully somewhat competitive list. The idea is to flood my side of the board during deployment, denying any deep strike/drop pod nonsense from messing me up. I've noticed that in order for me to be effective I have to blob my entire army together and move as one, spreading out even a little means death.

-- Khorne Daemonkin - 1850

-- Blood Host Detachment --

- Slaughtercult -

1x1 herald
2x1 chaos spawn
1x5 possessed
2x8 bloodletters

- Gorepack -

3x3 bikers - 2x melta-guns each
4x5 flesh hounds

- War Engine -

2x1 Maulerfiends

-- Combined Arms Detachment --

- HQ -

1x1 Wrath of Khorne Bloodthirster

- Troops -

2x8 chaos cultists

- Fortification -

1x1 aegis defense line - icarus lascannon

Total points: 1798

Strategy

Do my best to go second. Everything starts on the board, blocking every inch of terrain in my deployment zone so the enemy drop pods have to drop in front of me. The defense line protects the herald on the lascannon and the bloodletters, the flesh hounds escort everything else up the field headlong into the enemy. The backfield is protected by cultists and bloodletters. The back of my blob is protected by spawn and possessed. I summon in bloodcrushers/flesh hounds where needed. May even summon in a daemon prince if the backfield needs major support, but crushers are usually more than enough.

This list relies heavily on positioning and cornering the enemy. I'm not at 1850 yet but a single rhino or moving around some points will get me there.

Apparently fortifications are not their own detachment. Learn something new every day. Guess I'll have to rework some things.

Edit: easily moved some units to a CAD, list is now legal and comes with the benefit of objective secured cultists.
