Looking to try out tau kill team to see how I like it before I dive in and buy an army. Some of the guys at the shop I play at are starting to get into the kill team games cause they are quick and quite fun. I purchased a box of stealth suits and a box of crisis suits and seeing what you guys think would be my best bet for a 200 or 250 point list with the given models. I already built my stealth suits with burst cannons as I thought the bigger guns would be better on the crisis suits. Question I guess is how should I kit the Crisis Suits and in what combination of models should I use for 200 and 250 point games? The people I play with are really competitive and cheese is the norm, so dont hold back.

At my desk

A guy at my club just runs as many Fire Warriors as he can. with S5 guns they're quite potent with ample cover.

Maybe bring 1 Crisis suit if you want for some nicer armour.

3000pts Blood Angels (4th Company) - 2000pts Skitarii (Voss Prime) - 2500pts Imperial Knights (Unnamed House) - 1000pts Imperial Guard (Household Retainers)

2000pts Free Peoples (Edlynd Fusiliers) - 2000pts Kharadron Overlords (Barak Zilfin) - 500pts Ironweld Arsenal (Edlynd Ironwork Federation) - 1000pts Duardin (Grongrok Powderheads)

Wargaming's no fun when you have a plan!

I've wanted to try out taus jump shoot jump. Also I don't intend on buying anymore tau unless I like how they play so Im limited to what I have. 3x stealth suits with burst cannons and markerlight drone and a box of 3 crisis suits that came with 5 gun drones.

With what ya got, 4 or so Crisis Suits, with dual PRs. The AP2 gun really hurts, and JumpShootJump makes the very durable. Be sure the table is adequately filled with LOS blocking terrain.

Don't glue on your guns. Search the 'Net for articles on using magnets to swap guns ... for the Crisis Suits.

Stealth Suits with the BurstCans are okay, but Crisis are better, tougher and with more wounds.

For future purchases, wait until the new codex comes out,
