How do you make a working door?

Hi all

I'm about to start work on a couple of scenery projects that I would ideally like to have working doors on. (Rather than the clip in/slide out doors I use at the moment see below)

I'm after some inspiration so how do you do yours? What have you tried? and what doesn't work for you?

Thanks for looking

P.s Pics would be appreciated.

Pinning them in a doorframe without glue allows doors to pivot nicely. You can either make them quite thick and drill a hole for a bit of wire or just glue the wire on to whichever side of the door is going to be seen least. Make sure they have enough space to swivel around the point, doors getting stuck on otherwise completed terrain is awful.

Sorry I can't get any photos, the terrain is in use at my local club.

Can use dollhouse door hinges, would work for you as well.
