So I took this list against a friend recently but unfortunately got my face smashed in when he took two of the Vindicator Linebreaker formations. He blew what little units I deployed initially and that wasn't too fun. However I like the theme of this list and I'd love to hear any feedback on it.

It starts as a semi-null deployment in that the targets I start deployed will be less than desirable to shoot and I hold the majority in reserves and hope I get good rolls for reserves(assisted by a comms relay). In my game against the dual Linebreaker formation I should have deployed my Mawloc on the board to give me a hard to kill unit to prevent me from losing everything T1 and not being able to roll for reserves. I'm thinking I might invest in a bunker w/ void shield & comms relay to help..

Basically the idea is to stay very quiet for a turn and then attack from all fronts. It's risky but I like the idea of it. When I played against the Linebreaker Formation I did roll the Warlord Trait to get Infiltrate on my Warlord and Three units. Which I used for the other Flyrants and one Hive Crone. I would love if I could always have this but I don't depend on it.
Basically I start on the board with maybe two or three mucolids and the lictor. (I may deploy the Mawloc next time to keep me alive) And then turn two hopefully I get everything on and Fly it Forward or DS near scary things and try to plasma them. I usually have had good success getting rid of a Dev Squad/infantry blob hiding in the corners with the outflanking Termagants.

I'm sure there are some things I could do better and if you can think of something please let me know!

I'm just two Flyrants short for PenTyrant...Still not sure if I want to go that route but when it's such a good FMC it's hard not to consider!

Eh, for me I have always liked the idea of borrowing tyranids. The lictor shame, 3x mawlocs is the route I would take. But that's a different list than what you are going for.

You could look into putting a Spore Field in, that way you can re-spawn the spores if they all get gibbed...
