Hello all, this is my first real army list for an upcoming non competitive campaign/apocolypse/fluff thing that a few of my friends and myself are doing. Basically I need a 4000 point list that can be subdivided into smaller lists for smaller games. (Now i would like to point out that i have not actually played a game since 5th edition and even then i was rusty on the rules, i only actually started to get into the hobby again like two weeks ago and man has stuff changed!) P.S. i have it on authority that atleast two players are bringing infantry spam loyalist marines and another is bringing some tau list. so will i need more plasma to take out the MEQs?

how are the terminators meant to get to the enemy? way to risky to deep strike. You need a spartan.

hmmm is deep striking too risky? my original scheme was to stick them in a landraider with abaddon but then i saw the land raider transport capacity...
what would you recommend regarding the spartan take that in exchange for what?

I am totally opposed to running the Heldrake with anything but the Baleflamer. .. BS 3 makes the Hades autocannon totally inferior to Baleflamer.

Nurgle Bikes are a points sink. I've been having better luck with min sized raptor units un marked than bikes. Especially since you don't have a Bike HQ, but even then, I'd say spawn, even in multiple small units of 3 would serve you better for light vehicle hunting, objective scoring, and elite tarpitting.

Chaos terminators can be good butn ot as a big blob, make 3 min squads with combi meltas and probably nothing else for meltasuicide, you can add upgrades like marks etc for flavour if you want but don't bother with upping melee weapons just use axes and mauls

Heldrake should never be toting anything except a baleflamer, if you wan't to kill an air unit you vector strike

The second squad of chosen has a really janky loadout, like you aren't sure what their job should be

Get a biker loard and some chaos spawn, very good combo thats priced nicely

Don't bother with the TLLC on the defiler

not sure where Abby should go or what his job is, like i said a biker lord with spawn is better, otherwise it's all decent or just needs minor changes
