Hello everyone

I am somewhat ashamed that I haven't gotten around to posting an introduction before today. Instead using my time to just creep around the forums and keep an eye out on changes.

So let me get down to it.

My name is Ethan and I have been a gamer for some time, a little over 23 years to be exact and I am recently returning to Warhammer after a short military career and after having suffered the loss of nearly my entire collection of units. Believe me when I say that it was a lot and we can just leave it at that.

I have recently been joining new leagues that have been popping up nearly my home town of Bowdon, in Georgia. If anyone needs a reference, that puts me nearly a hours drive from Atlanta and about an hour from Oxford Alabama. I have played a few matches that have been really good and several of them in fact have been crushing, but I have had severe bumps in the road as well, when facing the new cheese that is the Eldar D flamers... "ouch" That being said, in the past I was a complete devoted follower of Chaos. Enough so that I had managed to collect four separate armies, with enough variety to make the ruinous powers collective heads spin.

Now however I find myself doing something I never would have imagine and I have been instead, hunting my former allies as the Grey Knights and though I do miss the old days. I have gotten somewhat attached to my new army. However the point being that the opportunities for me to play are few and far between. I have looked over the player finder and it only has so many registered that I can even attempt to look over. The nearest on being three hours from me and I have a hard time justifying that trip too myself, even if it is for something that I know and love dearly.

I am going to register myself so others can see my location and if anyone wants to chat or play, just look me up.

I hope to see you all on the field of battle sometime. So my hammer can at least powder and few orks

If anyone is interested on my skills, I painted and modeled most of my own units and armies. But my favorite activity was to make smaller specialized conversions and using lite materials to make my own terrain.

One has to wonder. Do the Tyranids consider drop-assault troops... fast food?

Hi. Welcome to Dakka

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes
TheEyeOfNight- "Ordo Xenos reports that the Necrons have attained democracy, kamikaze tendencies, and nuclear fission. It's all tits up, sir."
Space Marine flyers are shaped for the greatest possible air resistance so that the air may never defeat the SPACE MARINES!
Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
