Hi there fellow hobby enthusiasts. I am kitbashing myself a seer council and am trying to figure out how best to do the rune armour. Im thinking of maybe using decals for the runes, but then glazing over them, to create a sense of them being bedded into the armour as much as possible. Has anyone done anything like this before? Should it work...? Glazing over decals? Anyone?

I've washed over decals - which is close enough to what you're asking - and I've found that as long as you have a very good varnish on them, and they're adhered properly you should have no problem.

I really recommend Humbrol DecalFix for making sure they're stuck down well and then use any varnish you like. For glazing, I think the Satin finish of GW 'Ardcoat would be good.
