Nobz and Warboss ride in Wagon with Kill Kannon
Tankbustas riding in wagon with Rokkitz
Boyz Riding in the other two battlewagonz

Pretty straightforward, scout forward, shoot everything we can, try to get the Nobz stuck in on turn two. What are my odds :p

Hi, here' my feedback :

BW's : boarding planks may be helpful, I'd prefer more basic weapons (rockets) instead of killkannon.

Warboss : attack squig and/or lucky stick.
not so survivable for the moment.

Boyz : Nob could use a weapon, preferably Klaw.

Nobz : some big choppas would be nice.

Some cheap Meks could be handy, or a big mek with force field on a bike, hiding behind the BW's so some can benefit from the field.

if you want your nobz in contact at turn 2, don't put them in the killkannon wagon. you'll be turboboosting so you can't shoot your killkannon. when you are close enough to charge. the softer side of your battlewagon will be exposed to the enemy. i think the killkannon is points wasted.

The nobz in your boy squads could be upgraded with powerklaws for ap2 s8 hits (s9 on the charge) eventhough it's not their job to be in cc, you never know when a powerklaw comes in handy. Also, give them twin linked shoota's

we woz build to fight, not to lissen to da warlord

I'm still looking for more input.

Most deployments are 4 ft wide (48 inches) I can start the wagonz at 12 inches. Scouting 12 inches gets me in the middle of the table for most things. The first turn the Nobz wagon can move 6 inches and still fire that Kannon. I feel like they could do that, then next turn move 6 inches, disembark 6 inches, and the Kill Kannon still shoot something (I'm mostly in assault ranged with WAAAGH here). Feels worth it just because the scout move is soo big.

Big Mek KFF on bike feels expensive and I don't know where to lose points at because I feel barebones elsewhere already.

My ork boyz with shootas are prioritizing anything that needs lots of dakka. The only chance they see CC is for an objective against something with a cover save and nothing else. They will likely be speed bumps in most builds for my tankbustas or support units for assault with nobz.

I don't want to sound inflexible, I like input, thank you very much. Outside of putting a better 300 point unit other than nobz on the table, what else can I do here?

You could go all in on those wagons. Drop off the token loota squad, get a Void shield to give the wagons more protection. Move some points around to get the 2 layers of shield.

I thought they smelt bad on the outside

Lootas do feel replaceable, they feel like extra dice. With nobz pks feeling soo hidden and no pks on boyz I feel mekz feel excessive. I've thought about the single tractor kannon unit but when it isn't five flying tyrannies it feels wasteful. Lootas feel like the the sideboard unit that still shoot bikes. I feel weak vs invisible stars.

drop dat killcannon fer a couple lobbaz on dem shoota wagonz, Drop da aquad of nobz an get yerself a squad uv slugga boyz wit a powerclaw nob! Now you gots a squadz ta get stuck in wiv! Now make yer boss a megaboss! An' give 'im da lucky stick and a cybork body, now 'es dead killy. den give im a squad of 3 meganobz an' you gots a dead killy squad. I fink der should be sum more points left ova fer sum little gunz on dat last battlewagon. Get yerself a snazzy zzap gun to take down dem megamarinez wit dem hammaz n shieldz. Get rid o dem lootaz too for more dakka on da wagonz! WAAAAAGGH!!! Seriously though why the lootaz? They're mostly good against light vehicles and light/medium infantry. You have rokkits for that and they do it better. And the shootaz and big shootaz would do dakka vs light infantry better. AND, if you have a squad of lootaz and ONLY a squad of lootaz among all those hard targets presented by the battlewagons, and ranged light dakka is just gonna get thrown right at the lootaz.Use those points for more weapons on the wagons they'll be a bigger threat. Zzap guns would fill a need for ranged AP2 for you. As I suggested barrage blasts in with those shoota wagonz will be a godsend. Kannons could do both but not as well. But if you're scared of gets hot they might be your ticket on the tankbusta wagonz.

You'd most likely scout out of the void shield to begin with.

I would rather see a unit of skorcha MANz in the wagon than nobs, even if it means half their number. And a warboss in mega armour with DLS. Hits way harder and is more durable, with skorchas can put a decent dent in anything before hitting it, particularly tarpits. And a plank for them

12 is fine for a unit of tankbustas. I'd loose the rokkits on their wagons and take a killkannon. Then you can crack rhinos and pop the contents etc.

Big choppa on the shoota nobs.

So something along the lines of
2 BW ram, 4xbig shootas 270
2 BW ram, killkannnon 290
BW ram, killkannon boarding plank 160

Warboss, MA, DLS, BP 130
2x20 shootas + big choppa 340
2x12 tankbustas 312
5 MANz, 5kombi skorchas 225
5 Lootas 70

1797

Fifty to play with, I find 5 lootas not quite enough to be of much effect so could bulk them out. Or alternatively loose the lootas and take could take 5 mek guns with an extra crew and ammo runt each. Kannons or lobbas, depends on your preferences, either would work. I'd lean to lobbas as backfield hideaways but could split it easy enough.
