Hi guys,

I haven't played in 7th with all the new codices (Eldar, Necron...) and massive choice of allies. But now that I've completed assembling and painting a few units me and some old friends decided to get back into the game. We'll have a friendly little game day at a friend's (along with bbq and beer - yay).

So, I really wanted to start with my IK and play some GK also. The list does not have to be OP, I don't mind winning or losing, but it should be some fun.

I thought about something like the following list and would like to know your assessment if this could be played or if it's total mental diarrhoe. If not, what would you change for the above mentioned friendly environment? I have some of most GK units (Paladins, more regular ones...) and also Assassins.

How should I play this? I was thinking about having the opponent focussing the IK detachment and teleport in the GK to make him choose between them getting in cc or moving towards the IKs. Bit of hammer and anvil so to speak. Or would this be too few model count? I was looking forward to carrying only a few models for a change

GK:
HQ - Librarian
Troops - Strike Squad (5)
Troops - Terminators (Justicar, 2 Halberds, 2 Swords)
HS - NDK with Sword
HS - NDK with Sword

IK:
Household Detachment with
2 x Knight Errant
1 x Questoris Knight Magaera with Hekaton Claw

My friends are all fine with using the experimental IK rule as if it was a normal one.

My armies:
Eldar
Necron
Chaos Space Marines
Grey Knights
Imperial Knights
Death Guard

While I find the Magaera to be an underperformer as Knights go, you have a nice GK/IK list. I wound find it fun to play or play against!
