So i am currently sitting at 750 points, with my yellow Dark Eldar. But i'm a bit stuck on what i should add to get up to 1500 points.
I think i already have a solid core for my army with 5 lance weapons, lots of guns and an assault unit.
I was thinking of adding a grotesquerie, or corpsethief formation but that might be to point expensive in a 1500 pts list?

Anyway, help and advise would be appreciated.

The grotesqurie is really good but very expensive in small point games. I would consider adding a flyer or 2 and maybe a ravager.

The best formation in the covens supplement is the dark artisan. Give the haemonculus a wwp, cronos a spirit probe for +1 fnp, talos a twin linked liquifier gun. Make this haemonculus your warlord and he comes with the reroll fnp rolls of 1 to all cronos/talos within 12" trait. This unit is incredibly hard to kill. It usually comes in around 375 points.

i like the idea of the dark artisan formation, with a wwp.
If i add some more assault units, it could be really fun. So i can deepstrike really precise and then charge everything in the +1 fnp bubble
so i would add:

Detachment - Dark artisan - 360 pts
+ spirit probe
+ wwp
+ flesh gauntlet ( for haemonculus)

This adds up to 1110 pts, leaving me with 390 pts. to add something to compliment it.

Maybe a unit of Reavers and a Razorwing?

One unit of grotesques, and then add the Archon. use the Wyches as a tarpit. then i still can add a Razorwing or something?

2 razor wing. 1 is flimsy.
