So, nother list I have been bouncing around. Sounds fun, an obscene amount of low Ap firepower, and making 30 grav shots per unit BS4 and ignores cover aint bad either. THoughts?

Nopes. Daemons and 5 Flyrants seem like natural counters to this list though. You're likely to struggle against heavy alpha strike lists and the likes of Green Tide as well.

Please read the rules if you're going to comment on them. Formations are detachments so your question doesn't make any kind of sense. In a battle forged army you may field any number of any kind of detachment.

As for the list, you have to do an unsaved wound to get the Bs4 and ignores cover. Which means against stuff that you need ignores cover against and deathstars you're unlikely to get the benefit and then add in to get that benefit you need to fire 955 points at one unit and 595 at another and you are not getting anything like efficiency from your list. You thus can't deal with Deathstars nor MSU spam (for instance Gladius) so I struggle to see what you do deal with well?

I would drop a few Kastellans and perhaps keep a fist in each unit so they can fight combat stars. Take 2 of the formation with 6 min sized units of Destroyers so you can split your firepower and gives you greater benefits from Canticles.

Infoslave is pretty pointless on a unit with Fearless that can't outflank. I would like to see a a Scryerskull to help the grav with AT duties.

True, I guess they probably would be better split up, forces opponents to spread there firepower out more.

The infoslave was not only extra points, but LD10 isnt bad when considering things like psychic shriek.
