I was looking around and I can't really decode which unit I like better any opinions? I was thinking about running the infinite and vargard as my HQ's

The question and its answer is probably what you think, it depends on what you are trying to do. Wraiths, for example, are among the best tar pitters in the game. However, despite their hype they really aren't going to be killing much.

Lychguard with scythes can kill anything in the game, but really need character support to shine. With shields, they're not going to be killing much but make excellent bodyguards.

Preatorians, fill the line between wraiths and lychguard by being fast and tough heavy assault infantry, but lacks the ability to engage the same range of targets.

I personally prefer lychguard and preatorians over wraiths but I like the guaranteed damage output.

Wraiths require the least amount of investment to do their job. The Praetorian formation is expensive but it's pretty fast and actually great at its job.

I still have no real use for Lychguard or Lychstar.
