my 5000pt. Dwarf Army is getting Painted up for a game soon. i Got the Dwarf Army book last year, and yet to battle, im one of them people that likes to play with a fully painted Army . i was just seeing if anyone still plays the 8th?

You might want to post in the 'Find a Game' forum. This one is for talking about Age of Sigmar rules questions.

Lots of people are refusing to switch from 8th to AoS. Ask in your area.

I love 8th, it was the best fantasy rules (aside from the magic in my opinion)

I wish it was just as easy to find a game of fantasy as it was just a little while ago. Im afraid to say every store i go to now is just 40k and X wing players.
Rarely so far, i have seen a few AOS players, painting models and trying to convince other players that its a great game, but they are shortly chased off as to make room for 40k, because no one with a mind can be convinced that AOS is as good as another game out.

Id wipe the dust off my war machine models before i wasted an afternoon playing a pre broken, unbalanced, over costing game.
Just new today on GW web site, AOS single model 80$!!!!

Keep it up GW, might as well kill all aspects of fantasy.

I still play games of 8th. Just fusted off my Empire army a few weeks ago, my buddy judt finished assembling his orcs. That was my first game of 8th in a while, I have been playing STAW pretty heavy for the past 2 years. It was a fun change. Neither my friends or I have any interest in AoS so we'll stick with 8th. We really only play WH at my house. I don't see anyone playing WH or AoS at the local shop. For the most part its 40K, X-Wing, and MtG with the occasional RPG, STAW, or boardgame thrown in.
