More a fun list as everything has an invul or demon rule, but I actually think it can run well in the grav/melta dominated meta. Really just trying to get some sort of effective use of my massive CSM collection. Plus seeing objective secured possessed is always a surprise to enemy players. Thoughts on what I can improve upon? Also need to shed 2 points.

I've tried running Chaos Spawn with Marks of Nurgle and found them to be mostly worthless. It's a 1-3 turn tarpit at best and that seems a waste of 175 points. If only they had a daemon save. Not to mention no AP. I'd add on another Heldrake, Soul Grinder, Forfefiend or something along thoae lines. Also consider adding dirge casters to your rhino's for your Possessed's sake.

Thank you for the comment. While true they don't do much, they are 15 T6 ablative wounds for the lord. Good call on dirge casters, I will add them in and get to 1850 by just dropping the MoN on the oblits.

Some of your points are off. 5 MoN spawn are 180, but a Heldrake is only 170 so that balanced itself out!

I don't think that the 2 Obliterators are going to do much for your army the way you have it. The key is redundancy. And if you are going to take them you really need to give them MoN so they can't be insta-gibbed by melta/lascannons.

Since you're running a Maulerfiend already, I'd drop the oblits and take another Maulerfiend with Lashertendrils. Use the extra 5 points to give your lord Blight Grenades. Very handy to have.

I don't like possessed but to each his own. You'd be better off with Plague Marines with Meltas I think. Good luck though, I like the Charnel Cohort idea, sounds like it will be fun to run.
