How do you prefer to kit out your PCS's? And how do you use them on the battlefield?

I usually kit and use them in one of 2 different ways;
1) The most common way for me to use them is to put them in a vendetta or allied drop pod to DS them in killing something important. In this use they are taken with 4 plasmagun vets and a naked commander. The ability to give themselves monster/tank hunters or ignore cover means I never have a game where they don't hit way above their weight class. The important part is you need to make something else your warlord as this unit almost always dies. I occasionally give this unit carapace armour or camo cloaks but only to fill out pts or because I want to use specific models. Otherwise keep them lean and mean. BTW an astropath can actually be an excellent addition if you are already bringing more psykers but a single psyker is usually not worthwhile. Also this unit is massively better in the elysian drop troops forgeworld army list.
2) Order caddy. This unit sits behind an ADL or in ruins and slings orders on an artillery unit. Honestly I only ever take this unit when I need more orders and than Yarrick can provide. Yarrick is much better due to his ability to confer Ld and durability. Also in small pts games Yarrick can be too expensive so I am forced to take a CCS instead.

...Sorry misread.

PCS I usually take with either 4 flamers to load into a vendetta or drop pod.

Or more common I take them naked to put orders occasionally and be low key so they can score. They actually make pretty decent scoring units with their orders as long as you plan to run with them every turn.
