Is there a trick to painting Ork Shoota Boyz fully assembled? I'm painting mine w/o the arms attached, because the arms cross in front and pretty much block access to the front of the torso, but I hate painting arms by themselves (kinda hard to hold 'em in place and stuff). Am I missing something, or is that the only way?

I've just painted up a batch of 12 shoota boys that I'm really happy with. To be honest man, I wouldn't worry too much about the part of the torso that's blocked by the gun. I tried to pick out the buckles and metal bits, but apart from that I wasn't too bothered.

Something I did find when painting them was that they're lacking in eye-catching areas when fully painted, so I was pretty liberal with face-paint and tattoos etc. Otherwise they'd've looked a bit bland.

Drill a little hole in the arm joint, super glue a paper clip in there, jam that into a piece of cork.

I paint arms (and anything else that will be difficult to paint after final assembly) separately, after temporarily spot-gluing them to a bit of spare sprue for handling.
