Hi there 40k community, I'm kogz. a while back I had to step away from 40k as I was learning abou tit, so sadly I am very far behind most of you. before leaving, I fell in love with the Blood Angels, and began a small army. Well, I got death company, . I am currently looking to build an army. I am not looking to get into anything competitive as of now, but an army, that could move into that realm in the future. I currently do have the rule book, and am acquiring the Blood Angels codex very soon. any input you may have on troops (and points) or general knowledge will be greatly appreciated. I know 40k can be costly, and is time consuming, but I am very willing to listen about troops, transports, hq etc.

thank you in advance,
Kogz

Hi. Welcome to Dakka

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes
TheEyeOfNight- "Ordo Xenos reports that the Necrons have attained democracy, kamikaze tendencies, and nuclear fission. It's all tits up, sir."
Space Marine flyers are shaped for the greatest possible air resistance so that the air may never defeat the SPACE MARINES!
Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

Welcome!

A blog that I read has recently looked at the Blood Angels codex and reviewed the units since the release of the new Marines codex http://30kplus40kequalsinfinity.blogspot.co.uk/ . Rob is also working on building and painting a Death Company themed army that looks great.

Imperator guides ( http://imperatorguides.blogspot.co.uk/ ) is also a great source for codex reviews. He has also recently finished a Blood Angels review of the new codex.

You could also post in the forum with more specific questions you have about the army (may get more replies and be more focussed than a generic "What is good in Blood Angels?" post.

Hope that helps.
