Subject: Horus Heresy Legion Seekers: Can their sergeants take combi-weapons?

I want to create a sort of "anti-deathstar" unit with my Seeker squad by getting ten of them and giving them all combi-plasmas, so that they get 20 BS5 Preferred Enemy S7 AP2 shots on their first turn.
However, I'm not sure if the Strike Leaders (equivalent of sergeant) can take combi-weapons. Does anyone know if they can take them. or will I have to give him a plasma pistol instead?

Going off the wording in the book, I'd say no, the sergeant can't take a combi weapon, just a plasma pistol.

“Because we couldn’t be trusted. The Emperor needed a weapon that would never obey its own desires before those of the Imperium. He needed a weapon that would never bite the hand that feeds. The World Eaters were not that weapon. We’ve all drawn blades purely for the sake of shedding blood, and we’ve all felt the exultation of winning a war that never even needed to happen. We are not the tame, reliable pets that the Emperor wanted. The Wolves obey, when we would not. The Wolves can be trusted, when we never could. They have a discipline we lack, because their passions are not aflame with the Butcher’s Nails buzzing in the back of their skulls.
The Wolves will always come to heel when called. In that regard, it is a mystery why they name themselves wolves. They are tame, collared by the Emperor, obeying his every whim. But a wolf doesn’t behave that way. Only a dog does.
That is why we are the Eaters of Worlds, and the War Hounds no longer."

What does the latest army book (Legion Crusade list book) say? I've read in Betrayal that there's no option for him to take a combi-weapon, but does it say it's possible in the Crusade list?

Unfortunately I don't have the latest books. I only have the first three at the moment.
