So we know that Mantic plan on releasing a book later this year with army lists for the WFB armies they don't have an equivalent for.

Will they do the same with Warpath?

We have Tau and Necrons for 40k and it would be cool to use them for Warpath too...

No idea. Gut feel says it's less likely.

For starters, I think the big issue will be "do any of the army lists play like 'missing' 40k races"?

There's always the opportunity to do something for the Ironwatch fanzine.

I would hope not.

One dwarf or ratman or knight is pretty much like another, but 40k's IP is a lot more distinct and mixing would make no sense either fluffwise or visually. And some people already almost had an aneurysm from the Warpath/Mars Attacks crossover.

Now I think about it, a Martian WP list would probably make a good Tau-proxy
