I am quite new to the game again (I played 3rd editon....) and I am going to a tournament with 850 points. It has some restricitons:

-No allies
- no special characters
- Only one source (so either standard army organization or one formation, or one "large formation"
- If combined contingent no doubles of HQ, Fast attack, Elite... so no 2 Phantomlords, Warp Spiders, Farseers...only standards can be taken more than once
- No wraith knight
- Not more than 2 flyers (also flying creatures)

What should I expect as opponent ? What do I need to prepare for ?

Sounds like an interesting and fun tournament. I think they are trying to have a bunch of quick fun games without some of the cheese and shenanigans that can make the game frustrating.

However I don't quite understand this:

Do you mean that if you take a Combined Arms Detachment, (The standard force org chart) that you can't have two units the same except for troops?

Exactly, no doubles on CAD. But 2 flying tyrants is possible in the leviathan detachment :-).

Expect to see flyrants and riptides. I tried to go to a 500pt tourney at my LGS once. Saw a guy running a wraithknight, another running a Flyrant, and another running a black knight command squad or some gak with a land speeder that gives them 2+ rerollable jinks.

If it's Eldar you are facing, watch out for Jetbikes with scatter lasers. I am pretty sure they would smash anything else on the table.

I would expect marine / CSM players to come with predators.

Monstrous Creatures and omni-14 vehicles seem like they'd be the danger.
