Hello forum users and lurkers... Getting ready for an upcoming tournament wondering if I can get some feedback on this DE only list variant. The inclination is to add Eldar Craftworld brothers but I want to stay pure DE.

Archon w Agoniser, haywire, and Shadow Field

4 x Incubi, Venom with 2 Splinter Canon
5 x trueborn w 3 blasters and 2 Splinter Canon, Venom with 2 Splinter Canon

5 x Warriors w blaster, Venom with 2 Splinter Canon
5 x Warriors w blaster, Venom with 2 Splinter Canon
9 x Warriors w blaster, Raider with dark lance and night shields
9 x wyches with hekatrix w haywire, Raider with dark lance and night shields

Razorwing Jetfighter w 2 dark lance and night shields
Razorwing Jetfighter w 2 dark lance and night shields
6 x reavers w 2 heat lance and 2 cluster caltrops
6 x reavers w 2 heat lance and 2 cluster caltrops
5 x scourges w 2 heat lance and 2 haywire blaster

Archon joins the incubi, everything looks for cover and advances, major deep strike capability if needed, no ravagers they are too squishy.

It looks pretty solid. MSU and mobile, you'll be able to cap obj easily I'd think. I guess my only question why the wyches and not more warriors?

Wyches, while suffering from what all melee units suffer from, CAN tie up a unit fairly well in combat.

I wanted some available cc and tie up in case I run into something I'm not able to shoot to pieces. Now I'm not sure if they should be wyches or warriors. Decisions!

Keep them as wyches, but don't upgrade them. Keep them as a mobile tarp it and that's all. Reavers will be jinking constantly, so unless you're satisfied with whatever cover you could possibly get, I don't think heat lances are going to help much. Cluster clatrops, however are amazing at killing light armor and MC's. True born usually should stick to one role at a time. Keep them smart in what they are doing. 4 blasters (or 5 if the draconian grabs a pistol) is great AT. the splinter cannons will not be useful at all against tanks. However, this is a supreme MC killing unit. Well done.

You're going to struggle heavily against an armored company of guard. I know I do with a very similar list.

So what strategies do you use against armoured guard? Deep strike? They back up against the edge and it's tough...
