I've been looking at the new rules for these two fliers in IA13 and I quite like the rules and their models. My question to you, dear experts, is if these two fliers, especially the bigger hell blade is worth the investment, considering it is pretty expensive and can only drop one bomb per turn.

My armies:
vior'la sept 12k
Erik Morkai's great company 6k
dark mechanicus, the dearth of hope, 8k
rothwyr morwan's company 1,5k
Adeptus custodes 2k
AoS, The forgotten order, SE, 3k

They are pretty cool.. I think the fire raptor outperforms both tho.

They're tempting because the Hell Blade (i think the cheaper one?) is a really, REALLY good AA flyer. The Hell Talon (the more expensive one?) is both AA and AI/AT with its bombs, making it the more versatile one, but for a cheap GAAAAKKK YYYOOOUUU flyer, the cheaper one flying in and knocking something out of the sky instantly with its upgraded guns is pretty great especially for the points. You should be able to instantly make back your points and then some if you have multiple high value targets on the field with it zooming around.

115 for a flying AA Venom is insanely good. Great weapons, great mobility, WONDERFUL price, and great flyer hunting rules with unnatural predator. you can easily bring 2 or 3 and would use them constantly.

My plan is to bring 2 or 3 and a kitted-out fire raptor with the legacy of ruin: tzeenahk the occulder. Gives my opponent MUCH more incentive to fire his AA at the more durable fire raptor than my flimsy hell blades. 6 S7 AP4 rending shots per platform is pretty awesome tank hunting too.

Heltalon is awesome with the rending autocannons. Its flimsy as all hell, so it takee some finesse to use, but its a fantastic little fighter for not a lot of points. Great as general shooty airisupport or as a secondary flier.

Helblade is preety pricey and needs a rules rewrite to allow it to drop multiple bombs. It seems like half baked rules that dont do what theyre intended to.
