Every time I can tell that I'm almost out of primer, I get a feeling of dread of having to spend like $18 on a can of primer. Now if Citadel primer is truly the best primer for Citadel models, I'll continue to buy it regardless of the price. But, I have a feeling that you all might know of some others worth trying. It'd be great to be able to have both a can of black primer for my darker models and white primer for my lighter models without having to spend $36.

Thanks in advance

I hate to say it...but please do a search...or at least look around.

This question (and what airbrush should i buy) get asked VERY frequently. People take time to write responses, so it would be nice if people would take the time to look for and read them.

I use hardware store primer, either black, white or grey. The krylon stuff that is about $3 a can. I use the flat as I like how it covers - I don't care for the somewhat satin finish of the gw primers (and their insane prices).
