Not sure if this belongs here or in 40k background but hey...

Just bashed up some fluff for my Tempestus Scion Regiment and looking for your thoughts and feedback on it.

22nd Zetic Peregrines

Terran legend tells of a tiny bird which was able to dive from the heavens at such speeds that it was able to incapacitate its prey on impact before it even realised it was in danger. These creatures are now long extinct from Terra and whether or not this creature existed and was able to carry out such a feat cannot be proven however this creature is what the 22nd Zetic Peregrines choose to take their name from.

At home when jumping from gunships or descending from ships in low orbit these scions are experts in surprise assaults, descending from the skies and crippling they’re foe before they realise they’re there.

Unlike other mortal soldiers of the imperial guard the scions of the 22nd Zetic Peregrins have an innate distrust of astartes’ verging on disrespect. When an Ultramarine Strike Force descended on their recruitment world of Solyem hoping to find and destroy and alpha legion cult they were confused to find only loyal members of the Imperium. Refusing to believe they’re intelligence was wrong the astartes spent months making their way through the hive cities causing chaos in the streets, tearing families apart and stirring anger amongst the population in their relentless witch hunt. They left the world a year after arriving only having succeeded in turning a whole population against them. The resentment and feeling of betrayal caused by this act of careless destruction by these ‘angels’ is something even the scola progeniums mind scaping hasn’t been able to remove.

As a result of this the Peregrines are often chosen to hunt space marines who have been declared excommunicate traitoris.

Hope you like it, please give feeback even if its just that you like it. If you don't like it I'd love some constructive criticism

Well disrespecting marines may end badly if wrong chapter like templers, space wolves, minotaurs, iron hands maybe etc.

But hey if they want to live dangerously :-)

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

I have no clue how Dakka's moderation work. I expect it involves throwing a lot of d100 and looking at many random tables.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.
