Realistically I feel torpedoes should be of more use against corvettes. Maybe some specific anti-corvette torpedoes that can only attack the epic ships
Make it an actual template like the bombs, make its movement turn based (maybe moves distance of range 2-3 per round). The torpedoes have maximum range 5-7, and potentially instead of target locks the torpedoes somehow take 2 rounds to fire off (or something similar). Maybe make it possible for small fighters to engage the torpedo and attempt to destroy it.
This would give more of a purpose to corvette's fighter screen and a reason for the corvette player to go on the offensive attempting to reach the bombers.
Just a though and something I'd like to see, I mean its what torpedoes are for! I find it dumb the best way to destroy corvettes is to get close and light it up with small weapons fire, and get in its blind spot/s. Being in range 1-2 of a gunship/ anti-fighter corvette should be a death sentence for non-agile small ships.
Torpedoes are basically another missile variant in X-Wing they could be so much more!
Just my 2 cents... but I don't have much interest in epic play until something like this is added.
