Well, the other day I was playing with a friend, to sum up:
-I shot a Barrage Large Blast centered on Tygurius.
-He had joined a unit of Terminators.

Tygurius has an Armour Save of 3+, while the Termis 2+, per Barrage wound allocation are being allocated from the centre of the blast (in this case, Tygurius), all having T4 was no discussion when rolling to wound, but he claimed that the majority armour save was 2+ for the unit so he said that Tygurius had to roll only 2+ instead his personal armour save of 3+
I said that the majority is used when rolling to wound not allocation wound, since allocation and concecuently saves is model per model (rolling altoghether when all have the same)

I told him he had to roll 1 wound at a time (also because he wanted to LoS). So each wound had to be rolled on Tygurius (closest to the centre of the marker) until he was remove and pass to the next closest or the wound reserve was empty.

What do you say?

You were right. You allocate wounds per model. So if Tigurius is first in line from center of blast he take his armour/cover/invul save.
In this case Look out Sir can be made and if passed the terminator roll his armour save.

Everything is explained in BRB
The Shooting Phase > Allocate Wounds & Remove Casualties

4th edition had the epically horrible mixed armour rules, which is likely what they are remembering. 5th was groups by armour save which obviated the mixed armour rules.
