Well the one ship that could get in into this has been made. The Akira class. I am interested is getting a game into see how it plays. I am experienced X-wing player so I am used to the maneuvering mechanics.

Check the Wizkids Event System. I'm not sure how far it is from you but there was a very active STAW community Falls Church and Vienna VA.

Just as a heads up, some of the manuevers, especially the banks, are different. Not a ton, but enough to muff up some manuevering if you aren't aware.

I will take a look at the website, sadly DC and NOVA is a 3 to 4 hour drive for me. So they are not doable.
