My wife found a Forgeworld (I believe long out of print) destroyed fantasy bridge at a garage sale still in the box. Un-painted, un-primed. I won't bother pissing you off with how little she paid for it.

Any idea what these things are worth? I'm not crazy about it, it wouldn't fit on my gameboard (no depressed river bed for the bridge to go over).

I've toyed with the idea of making a new game board with a river crossing an featuring it but not sure if I want to go through the trouble. If it's worth a bit I'd Ebay and buy some useful terrain for my board.

Any ideas?

Cheers.

My advice - stick up on ebay for 1p with a weeks duration. Whatever it sells for, that's its value.

The only reason I considered selling it was the ridiculous prices that the GW scenary is going for. For that little though I would keep it.

Figured it might be worth something since it was FW and OOP.

It's a lovely piece and I'd personally keep it.

Usually but not necessarily. I've managed to snag some bargins on ebay in the past. Its amazing how many auctions end with a single bid when you're expecting to be sniped.

Probably about €35-50, there are a still a couple places it can be ordered from although I'm not sure if they are 'legit' or recasts since they aren't sold directly from FW... so I wouldn't buy from them but that is just me.

With a less common item like this, you're much better off not starting it so low if you decide to sell it, imo. I would say don't start below what your willing to let it go for. It's a really nice piece of terrain!

Yes, but the question asked was "Any idea what these things are worth?"; zedmeister's post answers that.

They normally go for around £30 - 40 on auction websites, its not very often this one comes up for sale, so you might find a collector will offer more.

I always find it hard to part with the old scenery, myself, and it is a lovely model.
