Hello!

I am moving on 17th September to Swansea, Wales, UK from Harrisburg, PA, USA to attend postgraduate school at Swansea University. I will be taking at least one army with me (for 40k or 30k) most likely, but only if I can find a club to play it at!

Please let me know if you know of any gamers or clubs in this area!

Don;t know about clubs but there's a really good game store in Swansea called Swansea Gaming Emporium, they sell a LOT of tabletop, boardgames rpg and have a moderate gaming room upstairs with a LOT of events weekly, also in there's Firestorm Games in Cardiff about and hour on the train away its gaming room is MAHOOSIVE. They've both got clubs I usually go with a couple of friend's (Not sure if that qualifies as a club ) not sure what the 40k scene's like in either but I know there's usually at least one game of 40k going on. I'm more of a malifaux/planetfall/mantic kinda guy.

Cardiff has firestorm games, which can host hundred of player tournaments.

There is a wargamers club on townhill (it is right next to one of the campuses of Trinity Saint David) but we don't actually play 40k there. We play prettymuich any other game you can think of, but not 40k.

Where in Swansea are you staying? If it's at the campus then buses literally run every ten minutes and it will drop you right outside where GE is.

I've lived in Swansea all my life, so I know roughly where everything is.

oh okay. My apartment is 112 Bryn Rd, just off to the side of campus on the east.

Yeah, you basically walk to the uni and take the 4a bus. It will drop you off by a hotel called 'The Dragon Hotel'. Gamers Emporium is right around the corner.

Coincidentally, the 4A runs straight from the university to Morriston Hospital, which has the local A and E unit, it's very good if you happen to have a gaming related incident.

Gamers don;t have accidents that require A&E.....
