Subject: [1000] - Khorne Daemonkin

War Walker Pilot with Withering Fire
|
Building my first Chaos army, am going with a Khorne Daemonkin slaughtercult + gore pack configuration. My general plan is to rush in and murder, then summon more guys to rush in and murder...aka every Khorne plan ever.
Any feedback? I have ~15 points left over to play with.
Slaughtercult:
1 chaos lord w/bike and Kor'lath
5 possessed in a rhino
2 units of bloodletters w/leaders in reserve
1 unit of cultists
1 soul grinder + phlegm bombardment
Gorepack:
2 units of bikers + 2 meltaguns
1 unit fleshhounds

Not quite. You have a Blood Host detachment here. Which consists of, currently, 1 slaughter cult formation, one gore pack formation and one war engine formation. You will get the blood host detachments command benefits, but just like the gore pack, the soul grinder will not benefit from the slaughtercult's fomation "boon of khorne" special rule.

That is what I said, though perhaps my wording was off, that is what I meant by "detachment benefits"
Back on topic, I actually don't like the korlath axe, I've been using a gore drinker, jug, AoK lord.

Personally- I don't like Korlath... But I get why people do.. If you run Korlath, you most definitely do NOT want to spend those extra points on giving the lord a save....
Pretty nice list- I would drop the rhino and cultists for more hounds... But that's because I love the hounds!
