If you replaced the crones with flyrants and tyrannofexxes with mawlocs itd actually be pretty competitive, but yeah thatd be a fun list to play

Im sure copypasta'ing other competitive nid list would if anything make it more generically competitive, but remember that much of the game these days is rock, paper, scissors. Many would like to think that 3-6 flyrants, a bunch of mawlocks and lictors or mucolids to fill the gaps is the only way to field the codex, but I reject that theory. And I have taken the 1 flyrant tax, hahaha, but I don't want to sacrifice the theme of the list with flamers flamers everywhere!

Well..if you lose two Crones, and one Spore you could add a Troops Tervigon with a Thorax hive couldn't you? One less Template, but plenty more Troops...?

You might consider giving the flyrant a miasma cannon & some sort of grubs for dual flamer goodness (A build known as the templant), to make it fit the theme.

I did originally have him with both, I could go back to it fairly easily. I wanted to give him miasma, egrubs and fighter ace, but it puts me a darn 5 points over hahaha
