Okay so here's the juice: got a new min maxing cheater at my flgs. Along with the usual array of "misinterpreted rules", fudged movements, and the latest meta. He uses the eldar/dark eldar combo with the str D flamers in the raiders.

After the tourney somebody told me that the str D flamers are minus one on the D table. Is this true? What is the page number and paragraph where I find this information?

I'm not sure of the page number in the Eldar codex, but it is true. They receive a -1 on the Destroyer chart. I believe it's a special rule the weapons themselves have, so just browse the codex.

Yep. Weapon is called D-Scythes. Their own description is pretty clear of how they work.

I hope he's rolling scatter for them. A unit of five only just fits inside a Raider, so no WWP Archon tag along.

And yes, they are -1 on the Destroyer table and only count as S4 for ID purposes. Check the Distort Scythe rule.

It's in the weapon section for the distortion weapons. The rule in question is...

"Check the Distort Scythe rule."

They can never cause a roll of 6 on the D table and you only pass a roll on a 3-6.
