I recently finished painting up the plastic Wrecked House from Warlord/Italieri. I got it on sale and am pretty happy with it. It may be a bit small for based 28mm figures, but should still work.
It is painted with cheap craft paints, weathered with acrylic washes, a few pigments and added rubble. Nothing fancy at all but I think it came out decently (especially for the amount of effort I put into it...)
I took a few of the pictures with some Terminator endoskeletons for scale comparison.
I assembled it but did not attach it to the included base until I was ready for weathering.

Thanks. I should have taken WIP pictures. After the first colors were put on it looked bad, so bad I almost just said screw it. I kept going and am pretty happy with the final outcome.

Love it. Models can get in it, behind it, on it, and it looks big enough to protect even a skimmer sheltering behind it. All terrain should be so useful.
