I was curious on favorite HWK lists people have played (Scum or Rebel), I made a list for my friend that wanted to try X-wing and he kinda kicked my butt with it lol. I was trying a bizarre Scum list so my chances were low, but during the game I liked the list I made for him more and more.

B-Wing: Blue Squadron Pilot
B-Wing: Blue Squadron Pilot
HWK-290: Kyle Katarn
- Ion Cannon Turret
- Jan Ors
- Moldy Crow
X-Wing: Biggs Darklighter

The Ion Cannon Turret and Jan Ors could be swapped for Blaster Turret and Recon Specialist.

Kyle and Biggs stay in close formation (enemies must attack Biggs) and the B-Wings may or may not be in range 1 of Biggs. Do 1 forwards to stack up on focus tokens then the first joust throw a evade and focus on Biggs for him to not be total cannon fodder. The B-wings can kind of take care of themselves and if not they can get an evade token, vastly improving their damage avoidance. Biggs is kind of cannon fodder but with a evade token and focus token possible every round his chances to survive are pretty good.

This list was also made with what I had (I don't have many Rebel ships) and its my favorite Rebel build so far with what I have.

What are some lists you guys have tried and like with any of the HWKs, and what you think of mine?!

I think the problem with Rebel HWK-290 is that is REALLY shines at higher point games. At 100pts it is very hard to allocate that maybe points to pure support.

That said, i've won a bunch of events at 150pts with Kyle providing all manner of focus shenanigans.

I've run a list similar to this in the past, except it had Blaster Turret and Recon Specialist. Now that the phenomenal Twin Laser Turret it is out, it affords Jan a little more offensive punch and giving her Nien Nunb gives some more choices when it comes to clearing the stress from her ability. Jan allows Dash to roll a 5-dice HLC shot, which combined with the fact that he'll almost always have at least a focus token (and probably a target lock), makes him even more dangerous. Of course, neither the YT-2400 or the HWK-290 are sturdy ships, so the goal is to kill anything that poses a threat to you as fast as you can (and with a souped-up HLC and TLT, it shouldn't be too hard).

Rebel HWKs with TLT will definitely be a thing now as it's the cheapest platform for that amazing weapon. I've already seen it in games and it's not to be underestimated.

You are insane. I know pretty much any combination can be fun... but you seem to excel at optimization.

If I'm ever in the DC area, I am letting you trounce me.

Hwks also support twin turrets better than a Y-wing because of the crew slot - recon specialist pairs well with a multishot weapon on an agile-ish (2dice, anyway) platformm

Z95 (N'dru Suhlak)
Scyk (Laetin A'Shera) with Heavy Scyk and Ion Cannon
Scyk (Tanasari Vet) with Heavy Scyk and Ion Cannon
HWK (Palob) with.. Opportunist, Blaster Turret, Engine Upgrade, K4 Security Droid and Moldy Crow.

It's an expensive (and still fragile!) Hawk but fun. Dace has better synergy with that Ion but when I tried it (Saboteur, Autoblaster Turret, Engine Upgrade) the 1 extra damage wasn't worth the need for a green manoeuvre next turn.

Thought of this list earlier for giggles, I haven't really used bombs yet so I threw this together! I would need to get another HWK tho =/

Scum:
HWK - Torkil Mux
- Ion Cannon Turret
HWK - Dance Bonearm
- Ion Cannon Turret
Firespray - Emon Azzameen
- Cluster Mines
- Proton Bombs
- Proximity Mines
- Andrasta

3 potential damage from Ion Cannons, Ion a ship, drop a bomb, boom!

This will be interesting!

Outflanking

Came up with a list based off of the Force Awakens ships that just got previewed.

Kyle Katarn
-Jan Ors
-TLT
-Predator
-Moldy Crow

Red Squadron Veteran
-Juke
-Comm Relay
-R2 Atsromech
-Integrated Astromech

Red Squadron Veteran
-Juke
-Comm Relay
-R2 Atsromech
-Integrated Astromech

Idea being that first turn, before we get into shooting range, everyone focuses, and Jan turns one of the T-70's focus to an evade, that it then banks. Turn 2, if I'm not in shooting range, I again bank focus on the HWk, and change one of the T-70's focus. After I get into shooting range, I will target lock and focus with the T-70's as necessary, and the HWK replenished the Evade tokens as necessary. HWK then snipes anything flanking the T-70's.
